Kinscherff High Noon

Highly Flamed Koa back & sides - Master Grade Adirondack Spruce top

Jamie Kinscherff and his dog make these guitars in his barn in Texas.
He is one of the most highly renowned luthiers in the world.
This guitar is top of the line whether you are a collector or a performer, or both.

About 3 years ago, I began a 'rolling collection'.
Some of the guitars I bought can be seen here

I sold most of them off by this time last year, except for a 1947 L5 and this Kinscherff.
I sold the L5 next and all I kept from that collection, other than some project guitars, is the Kinscherff.
I would love to keep it forever but it is far too nice a guitar for someone like myself.
I am appreciative of the time that I got to spend with it.

These photos were all taken on 11/14/07.
The ones on dirt were taken in a dark area, either with a flash or just brightened in processing.
The ones near the plants were taken in a semi-shady area.

I notice a bit of whiteness has appeared near the strap knob.
You can see it in a photo.
It may be from glue residue? I don't want to pick at it.
Small Jumbo size
1 & 3/4" nut
Near Mint condition
This guitar comes with a deluxe 5 latch locking case.

Here is a link to a non-cutaway, Indian Rosewood Kinscherff for sale, for $6600.
Rosewood Kinscherff

I believe they are asking a premium, because people don't want to wait for a Kinscherff.

The guitar I am selling was owned by Paul Asbell.
Paul sold it to raise money for his next CD release.
Paul has another Kinscherff High Noon, that has some player wear.
He chose to sell this one, because it is near mint.

Here is a medley, played on this guitar:
Paul Asbell on the Kinscherff

Paul had the action high, as fingerpickers often do. I installed a low saddle and have saved the original uncut saddle.
If you like Paul's music, you can get his CD's at paulasbell.com

You can also hear Paul and other artists demonstrating the guitars of various fine luthiers on the 13th Fret CD

I will include a collection of Surfpicks with the guitar but I can not ship the picks outside of the U.S.

sorry, sold
